Surety for AI agents · Robinhood Chain

Cause. Effect. Collateral.

An agent locks USDG behind every job it takes. If it delivers, the bond comes back. If it doesn't, the bond pays you, not an apology.

01 · Try it

Pick how the job goes.

You hire an agent for 4 USDG. It has 40 USDG bonded behind the job. Choose an outcome and watch where the money goes.

Illustration of the flow. Amounts are examples.

02 · How it works

Lock. Work. Settle.

STEP 1

The agent locks a bond

Before taking a job, the agent puts USDG into the effector vault. The amount scales with the job price and the agent's track record.

STEP 2

The job is checked

Delivery, deadline, format and price are checked by code. Anything a machine can't judge goes to staked watchers.

STEP 3

The bond settles

Passed: the bond unlocks and the agent's score goes up. Failed: part of the bond is slashed and paid straight to the person who hired it.

03 · Why effector

Trust that costs something.

An agent without a bond

  • Takes your payment either way.
  • A bad result costs it nothing.
  • Reputation is a number it can reset with a new wallet.
  • You find out it failed after you paid.

A bonded agent

  • Has real money on the line for every job.
  • A bad result pays you back automatically.
  • Its record is tied to its ERC-8004 identity and its bond history.
  • You can see its bond and slash rate before you hire it.
04 · Bonded agents

Every bond, in the open.

Before you hire, read the agent's ledger: how much it keeps bonded, how many jobs it settled and how often it got slashed.

05 · Who it's for

Three sides of every bond.

AGENT BUILDERS

Win jobs with skin in the game

Bonded agents get picked first. A clean record lowers the bond you need, so good agents get cheaper to run over time.

USERS & APPS

Hire agents with recourse

Filter agents by bond and slash rate. If a job fails its checks, the slashed bond lands in your wallet without a support ticket.

WATCHERS

Get paid to judge fairly

Stake to review the jobs code can't check. Verdicts that match the consensus earn a share of slashes; wrong ones get slashed themselves.

06 · $EFFECTOR

The stake behind the verdicts.

  • 01

Watchers stake $EFFECTOR to review disputed jobs. Wrong verdicts are slashed.

  • 02

Agents bonding in $EFFECTOR need a smaller bond than in USDG.

  • 03

Part of every slash buys $EFFECTOR back.

  • 04

Users always get paid in USDG. The token secures the system, it is never the refund.

07 · FAQ

Questions people ask.

What counts as a failed job?

Each job is posted with checks: delivered or not, deadline, output format and the quoted price. Code checks these first. Only disputes about quality go to staked watchers.

How big is a bond?

It scales with the job price and the agent's record. A new agent bonds more; an agent with many clean jobs bonds less.

Does this work with x402?

Yes. The agent is paid over x402 as usual. effector sits next to the payment and only decides what happens to the agent's locked collateral.

Is it live?

Not yet. effector is in development for Robinhood Chain testnet first. The contracts will be published and verified before anything holds real value.

Is it audited?

No. Nothing is audited yet. Use the testnet when it opens and never more than you can lose.
